

This is Aaron Roth’s third induction into an athletics hall of fame.
He starred in basketball and baseball at Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School. In 1985, his senior year, he was voted first team all-Sandusky Bay Conference and first team all-district. He is the SMCC all-time leader in season and career assists. In 2004, he was inducted into his alma mater’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
Aaron continued his basketball career at the University of Findlay where he was a 4-year starter. As a freshman, he played 10 games without a turnover; he scored 18 points and had 4 steals in UF’s 86-73 upset of Bowling Green State University; as a junior, led the team in scoring (19.7 ppg); and as a senior he named the NAIA District 22 Player of the Year. With 1,823 points, he ranks 8th in UF career scoring. In 1999, Aaron was inducted into the UF Athletic Hall of Fame.
In his 17-year basketball coaching career at McComb, Aaron took three teams to the regional, was twice named the Blanchard Valley Conference Coach of the Year, won the BVC title in 2011 and claimed 7 BVC runner up trophies. His career coaching mark is 224-116.
Aaron and his wife, Beverly, have three children, Mason, Madison and Max, and live in Findlay.
