A.J. Siebeneck is the most accomplished soccer player to come out of Findlay’s youth, travel and high school programs. The 1990 Findlay High graduate set most of the Trojans’ offensive records, including goals in a season with 46 and in a career with 86 as well as career assists with 40. Those numbers helped him become an all-league, all-district, all-state and all-Midwest performer. He was also an OHSAA Scholar Athlete as a senior.
After his highly successful high school career, Siebeneck went on to become a four-year starter at Duke University. While at Duke, Siebeneck helped the Blue Devils reach the NCAA Final Four as a junior. He was selected as a team captain and was a second-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference as a senior and led the squad as the offensive MVP in both his junior and senior seasons. He finished ranked 13th on the school’s all-time career points list. Siebeneck went on to graduate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1998 and is currently a physician in private practice in Latham, N.Y.
