The 1981 FHS graduate was a third-team UPI all-Ohio player, a 1981 North-South All-Star game player, finished in the top 10 in scoring and games played, among the top five in season scoring, and No.1 in all-time assists for a season and career free throws. FHS was 60-10 in his three seasons, won two conference titles and made two regional appearances. He also lettered three times in high school baseball and was a 3-time all-star with the Legion team.
