

Bo Hurley quarterbacked the University of Findlay football team to NAIA national titles in 1995 and 1997, when he was named NAIA Rawlings Player of the Year. The Upper Scioto Valley High School graduate holds 18 offensive records at Findlay, including career passing yardage (4,385 yards) and touchdowns (57). In 1997, he guided the Oilers’ offense to an NAIA-best 45.9 points per game while earning first-team All-American honors. He was a two-time Mid-States Football Association Player of the Week and a first-team all-league pick. Hurley was also an MSFA Player of the Week in 1995 and, in 1996, an all-league selection and an NAIA Offensive Player of the Week. In addition, the Alger, Ohio, native was a GTE Academic All-American in 1997 and, for each season from 1995-97, received NAIA Scholar-Athlete and MSFA All-Academic accolades. As a high school senior, Hurley was a first-team All-Ohio quarterback as well as the conference and district player of the year. He was also a first-team all-conference and district basketball player as both a junior and senior, when he averaged over 17 points per game.
