Brad Longberry

Brad Longberry was the iron man of Ohio Athletic Conference basketball from 1975-78 when had an Ohio Northern and conference record 104 consecutive starts, finishing a superb career in which he averaged double figures in both scoring and rebounding and was a two-time all-OAC selection. Longberry averaged 17.1 points and 13.1 rebounds as a junior and 18.2 points and 11.7 rebounds as a senior. He ranks No.2 all-time in ONU rebounders (1,036), No.10 in scoring (1,391 points), hit 546 of 1,080 field goals and converted 229 of 440 free throws as well as recording 224 assists. Longberry was also an Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity member. At Findlay High (1973-74) he was the team’s leading scorer (354 points) and earned all-Buckeye Conference, all-district first-team honors and all-Ohio Special Mention in 1974 when he averaged 16.09 points, and the Trojans were conference co-champions. He ranks 26th in FHS career scoring (631 points) and is No.3 in career rebounding (564). Longberry was a junior varsity coach at the University of Findlay in 1982-83 and at Findlay High in 1983-84. He has owned and operated Flag City Water Systems since 1980.
