

Cait Craft is arguably the best women’s basketball player to come out of the Blanchard Valley Conference. The 2010 Liberty-Benton graduate was a 1st-team All-BVC selection three times and conference player of the year as a senior when she averaged 21.4 points. Cait was named to the Division III All-Ohio 1st team twice and was the AP Division III Player of the Year as a senior. As a sophomore, she led the Eagles to a 28-0 record and the Div. III state title. L-B advanced to the Final Four in Cait’s freshman and senior seasons. In four tourney games she canned 12 of 24 shots from behind the arc and scored 68 total points. L-B’s record in her 4 seasons as a starter was an incredible 93-8 with 3 BVC crowns as she scored 1,714 total points. Then as a member of the Ohio State Buckeyes, she lettered 4 times and started 103 of her 116 games. During her junior year, the Buckeyes were the Big Ten Tourney runner up, and the team advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 in her senior season when OSU averaged 86 points per game. A year earlier, Cait led the team in 3-pointers and her career 135 treys currently rank 15th all-time at OSU. Cait is a four-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and was an All-Big Ten Academic choice three times. She had 744 career points and was voted team captain as a senior. Cait is a neonatal nurse and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
