Chris Miller

Since being named the Sports Director at WFIN/WKXA in 1991 and at WBUK in 2008, Chris Miller has broadcast over 1,000 games, including several state championships. A native of Norwalk (St. Paul High School), Miller graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Radio-Television-Film degree. He arrived in Findlay after two years as the sports director at WLEO (radio) and one year as the sports director/anchor at WAU (tv), both in North Carolina. He expanded the coverage of WFIN/WKXA from football and boys’ basketball to girls’ basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, hockey, soccer and wrestling.

Miller has done play-by-play for five state championships won by area teams, including football (McComb and Hardin Northern), girls’ basketball (Arlington and Liberty-Benton), and boys’ basketball (Liberty-Benton). Miller has received many sports broadcast awards including the Northwest District Broadcaster of the Year. Since 1991, he has conducted thousands of interviews with area coaches and athletes on his popular WFIN Coaches Corner program. A professional in every respect, Chris has earned the respect of all area coaches and fans.
