

Jerry Carder culminated an outstanding basketball career at Findlay College as a 1968 NAIA All-American third-team selection. He completed his four-year collegiate career as the school’s No. 3 all-time scorer with 1,953 points. Carder was a member of four NAIA District 22 playoff teams at Findlay College and was a three-time all-district selection at guard. His contributions helped guide the Oilers into the NAIA national tournament in 1966-67. The 1968 FC graduate and Delphos native has served 11 years as host coordinator for district and regional basketball tournaments at the University of Toledo and a color analyst for UT basketball. After teaching and coaching at Toledo Libbey, Carder has spent 23 years in the field of college admissions and is presently Director of Admissions at the University of Toledo. He currently serves as Initial-Eligibility Certification officer for athletes transferring to UT.
