

Mianda Watts was an irrepressible force during an era of women’s basketball excellence at the University of Findlay. Her name appears in every meaningful category in the record book, 16 of those at No.1. Watts scored an all-time career-high 1,898 points, averaging 15.7 points per game with a single-season high 21.4 average in 1999-2000 as a senior. She also had a game-high 40 points in that season. A wonderfully well-rounded player, Watts is also the career leading rebounding (996) and the single-season leader with 316 as a senior. She was selected all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division first team twice and second team once and earned first-team NAIA and Kodak All American honors as a senior. Findlay logged a 99-25 record during Watts’ career and made three NAIA Division II National Tournament appearances, advancing twice to the Final Four. She also obtained her master’s degree from UF after earning a 3.8 GPA and a Bachelor of Arts in education degree. A resident of Encino, Calif. Watts is a Jr. Underwriter for Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group. She has also done professional modeling and acting and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
