

As a three-sport performer at Cory-Rawson, Scott Crawford became an all-Ohio player in both baseball and football, earning a gridiron scholarship to the University of Michigan. His football achievements included Blanchard Valley Conference, district and all-Ohio Player of the Year as a quarterback. He was a two-time all-district selection, was named a high school all-American and also starred in the Ohio North-South Game. Crawford was an outstanding baseball player as well, setting 14 school records while becoming a four-time all-conference, three-time all-district and two-time all-Ohio performer and a conference and all-Ohio MVP. He was chosen for the all-Ohio All-Star Series and fashioned a 20-7 career record which included a perfect game. The highly talented athlete also had a successful basketball career, becoming a 1,000-point scorer. He earned all-Ohio special mention, was a first-team all-BVC, second-team all-district pick and a district all-star participant as a senior.
