

Scott Duncan was a three-year starting linebacker at Findlay High School and at Northwestern University before a highly successful 13-year career as head football coach at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. At Rose-Hulman, Duncan ranked second in victories (69) and winning percentage (.531), led the team to the best three-year record (25-5), won two Collegiate Athletic Conference titles and coached five all-Americans. He became athletic director in 1989 overseeing the renovation of the football stadium, the construction of a multi-sport facility and the formation of a women’s athletic program. He was inducted into the school’s athletic hall of fame. Duncan was an offensive line coach at Bowling Green State University (1983-85) and a graduate assistant coach at DePauw University (1981-82) and at Northwestern (1980). At Northwestern, he was a three-year letterman, a senior co-captain, led the team in tackles as a junior and a Tommy Airth Award recipient. Duncan was also a three-year letterman at Findlay High, twice all-Northwest Ohio and all-Buckeye Conference and a senior co-captain.
