Sid Rodeheffer

A five-time letterman at Bowling Green State University, Sid Rodeheffer was a member of the 1968 Mid-American Conference championship basketball team which advanced to the NCAA tournament. Upon graduation, Rodeheffer served as a GA in basketball at Bowling Green before earning a master’s degree in 1972. Basketball and football officiating began for Rodeheffer during a medical red-shirt year at Bowling Green. Rodeheffer has received two OHSAA state championship basketball assignments and has worked several state high school football playoff games before moving to the collegiate level. Rodeheffer progressed through the Junior College, NCAADivision III and NAIA officiating ranks and was assigned to the 1984 Division II championship game. He has been a member of the MAC Basketball Officials since 1976, was accepted into the Big Ten in 1985 and is currently in his 11th season as a staff member. He has worked several MAC championships and NIT games along with officiating Division I tournament games for six years. The Bowling Green native became a MAC football official in 1984 and was assigned to the Michigan/Notre Dame game in 1994 and the Ohio State/Notre Dame contest in 1995.
