

Tom Herzan served as the Findlay Country Club Director of Golf for 17 years, teaching over 3,800 lessons and conducting over 1,500 member and guest events. He has taught golf for over 35 years and was recognized as Golf Digest’s top 10 Ohio Golf Instructor in 2001. The St. Paul, Minn. native qualified for 12 Champion tour events, including 7 majors; has won 4 state titles, including back-to-back Ohio Senior Open crowns and 2 Arizona Senior Open titles; is a Western Senior Stroke Play champion; and a 6-time National Club Pro and National Senior Club Pro championship participant. In the Northern Ohio PGA section, Herzan is a 3-time Senior Player of the Year, has 3 Senior Section, 2 Senior Match Play and a Section title among more than 50 tournament wins. Herzan shares two course records, a 63 at Findlay Country Club and a 65 at Quintero Golf Club in Arizona. Tom played for Arizona State (1976-1979) and was a member of the 1975 All Army golf team, winning the U.S. Army Pacific championship. In 2008, Herzan attained Champions Tour status finishing in the top 30 at the final qualifying school.
